Coffee with Jon and Jim Neely

14-09-07-Jim-Waterloo-1Rarely is the Middle East not in the news. But it has certainly intensified in the past few weeks. Hamas is firing rockets into Israel and Israel is fighting back. ISIS is beheading American journalists, the anniversary of 9/11 is just around the corner and American war drums are being pounded from normally dovish quarters.

As a red blooded American, my gut reaction is: let’s just nuke ‘em. We may have a discussion about our foreign policy in a different episode, but today, on Coffee with Jon, it is my pleasure to be joined by Jim Neely.

Jim has been a missionary in some of the hottest spots around the world for over 40 years. In the 70’s, he served in Tehran, Iran and was one of the last US Missionary to leave the country. In the 80’s, he and his wife, Eloise raised two children while serving in the war torn country of Lebanon.
